I have been a customer of this location since 2000. About a year ago, Life Storage bought out Metro Storage. Lauren and Herb have been great since taking over the location. I was looking to downsize my unit and they made sure I got a great deal and made sure that I had ample time to move my unit. If I could give them a raise in pay. I would. I just had to move storage facilities and was delighted to find this Life storage location near my home. Lauren was so helpful and knowledgeable and we were in, in no time. She made a very stressful situation so much better. The location is clean and easy access. Needed a drive up unit and there was one available at a reasonable price.

A few weeks ago I was checking online to find affordable storage for mostly empty boxes that were cluttering up my garage. I lucked out when I called the local Metro Storage and spoke to Ron. I went in the next day and signed up. Luckily, they- Ron and Herb- were not busy at the time, so we actually spent some time just chatting. I had a nice 'visit' and left there feeling good- nice only was my new unit clean and affordable, I felt like I made some new friends.

This places started out good when we first rented our unit. The day we went to move in, the elevators we’re supposedly down due to blown transformer yet we never once saw them actually trying to work on it for the around 4 hours we were there trying to unload. We had to manually bring our entire households items up to the second floor on the steep stairs out back and in the process my husband really hurt his hand. We were on a deadline with our truck rental and we had to have our items out of the truck so we had no choice. We were never once informed prior to arriving that the elevators were down from the Property Manager Ken who at first was nice when we first rented but was very rude to my husband when we went to move our stuff in. For how much these units are per month after all the fees and taxes I am less than impressed. Edit: the Regional Manager called and apologized for the issues.
